Why We Pace This Route This Way

Bumthang has three hot spring sites within half an hour of each other, and the water is hottest in the cold months when the valley is quiet. We build the week so nobody sits in a vehicle for more than ninety minutes on any day, and we book the baths late in the afternoon when the local families have finished. Two mornings are left completely empty on purpose.
