Arrival in Paro and short drive to Thimphu valley
Meet in Paro, visit National Museum at Ta Dzong, and continue along the river to Thimphu for dinner.

Six quiet days linking Paro, Dobji Dzong, Chele La at 3,988 metres, and Haa homestays
Almost everyone day-trips Chele La and turns back at lunch, leaving Haa empty and peaceful by four in the afternoon. We take you right over the pass to sleep two nights in Haa where larch forests drop straight to stone farmhouses along the Haa Chhu. You learn to fold buckwheat hoentay dumplings beside a family hearth, walk the switchbacks above Dobji Dzong, and finish with an unhurried morning climb to Taktsang.
