Arrival and a terrace dinner
Meet and assist, then straight to the lodge. A private dinner is set on the terrace of your suite and nobody is scheduled to meet you until the morning.

Six days for two with a private terrace dinner, a hot stone bath and no shared tables
A honeymoon in Bhutan should not involve a shared dining room at eight in the morning. Both lodges on this route set breakfast on the terrace when asked, the guide keeps the days short, and the two long afternoons are left empty on purpose. One private dinner is arranged above the Punakha river and the hot stone bath is booked at the hour the valley goes quiet.
Couples who want privacy and a lodge standard rather than a hotel standard
Meet and assist, then straight to the lodge. A private dinner is set on the terrace of your suite and nobody is scheduled to meet you until the morning.
Walk to Taktsang with the tea house as the turning point if you prefer. The late afternoon is the hot stone bath, and dinner follows whenever you ask for it.
Cross Dochula in the morning with a stop among the chortens, then check in to a suite above the river. The afternoon is yours.
Visit the dzong early, then take lunch at a farmhouse in Lobesa before returning. A private dinner above the water is booked for the evening.
No fixed schedule. The guide is on call for a walk, a drive, or nothing at all.
Return over Dochula after breakfast and reach the airport well before your flight, with the guide staying until check in.
Travel insurance strongly recommended: cover mountain medical care, altitude evacuation, and Paro weather flight delays. Read the travel insurance note
