Why We Pace This Route This Way

Three generations travel at three speeds, so this route gives every day a short version and a long one. Grandparents can sit out the ridge walk without missing lunch, and the children still get their bridge, their archery and their momos. Nothing above 2,350 metres except the pass road itself.
