Why We Pace This Route This Way

We built this seven-day western circuit for first-time guests who want to experience Bhutan main valleys without spending six hours a day inside a car. You sleep two nights in Thimphu, two in low-altitude Punakha, and two back in Paro so your body adjusts gently before climbing to Taktsang. Instead of rushing past roadside viewpoints, we stop where the smell of butter lamps at Kyichu Lhakhang hangs in the cold morning air and take lunch with a farming family in Lobesa. Every drive stays under three and a half hours.
