Arrival and a quiet first evening
Your guide meets you at arrivals and drives to a lodge above the valley floor. Nothing is planned beyond dinner, which is served beside the fire.

Seven private days for two with fireside dinners, a dotsho bath and no group schedule
Winter is the quietest season in Bhutan and the light is the clearest, which suits couples who would rather have a dzong courtyard to themselves than a crowd. The trip keeps two nights in each valley so nothing feels rushed, includes one private hot stone bath in a farmhouse, and leaves both breakfasts at leisure without a guide waiting in the lobby.
Couples travelling between November and February who want clear skies and empty viewpoints
Your guide meets you at arrivals and drives to a lodge above the valley floor. Nothing is planned beyond dinner, which is served beside the fire.
Walk up to Taktsang with a guide who sets a slow pace and stops often, or walk as far as the tea house and turn back with no shame. The afternoon is free and the hot stone bath is booked for the evening.
Cross the pass in the morning and check in beside the river by lunch. The afternoon is unscheduled, with the dzong saved for tomorrow when the light is better.
Visit the dzong early, then drive to a farmhouse in Lobesa for a private hot stone bath and a home cooked dinner in the kitchen. Return to the hotel late.
Walk the paddy path to Chimi Lhakhang in the morning and spend the rest of the day as you like, with the guide on call rather than beside you.
Return over Dochula and spend the afternoon at Kyichu Lhakhang, where the butter lamps are lit through the day. A farewell dinner is booked in town.
Breakfast at the lodge and the short drive to the terminal.
